Notes: The electromechanical (E/M) relates to:
- I. Complete electrical designs of buildings, with tables, cables, switches, power supply, microphone installations (if provided) which are accompanied by a complete technical description and specific computation issue.
- II. Complete ventilation drawings of the warehouse area accompanied by a full technical description and a separate calculation booklet.
- III. A complete electrical lighting plan of the surrounding area of the station, including the construction details of the cable routing, the laying of the lighting columns on the ground or the fixing of the luminaires to walls, any manholes and connecting mounds, accompanied by a full technical description and a separate set of calculations.
- IV. A complete water supply and sewerage drawing of the surrounding area, showing the respective networks and their route, the water companys meter, the location of the connection of the sewerage network to the city network, any necessary waste collectors, septic tanks, cesspools or watertight tanks and/or biological treatment. This plan shall include the same or be accompanied by detailed drawings of the manholes, pipes, water supplies and waste collectors.

Description The application for the announcement of the operation of the truck stop is received by the competent Transport and Communications Department of the relevant Regional Unit, together with the required documents and is registered.
Notes Of the required supporting documents (Circular No. 13929/929/11.3.2014, Model III.6), two (2) copies of all drawings and technical reports for the construction of the activity/enterprise will be submitted. The first of the two copies shall be kept on file with the competent authority and the second shall be issued to the interested party along with the Certificate of Legal Operation of the station.

Description Within five (5) working days of receipt of the notice, the official of the competent authority shall carry out a check of the completeness of the documents submitted, where appropriate.
Notes In case of no completeness (lack) of the supporting documents required, the Office responsible shall inform the person concerned in writing within five (5) working days of the absence of any of the supporting documents provided. The interested party will have to provide the supporting documents to continue the procedure for the issuance of the Certificate of Lawful Operation.

Description The competent Service, within one (1) month from the issuance of the Certificate of Submission of Notification of Commencement of Operation of the Station, proceeds to the examination and control of the supporting documents, in order to ascertain that all the legal requirements for the operation of the facility are met.
Notes Within twenty (20) calendar days from the date of issuance of the Certificate of Submission of Notification of Commencement of Operation, the competent department may request (by fax or e-mail) the applicant to provide additional information or clarifications on the documents already submitted, setting a deadline of five (5) calendar days.

Description If all the legal requirements are met, the competent authority issues the Certificate of Legal Operation of the Station, according to Model IV of No. οικ. 13929/929/11.3.2014.
Notes The interested operator of the Station, in the case of implicit approval, i.e. after thirty (30) days from the issuance of the Certificate of Submission of the Notice of Commencement of Operation, may request the relevant Certificate of Legal Operation of the Station from the competent Service, in accordance with par. 4, of Article 10, of Law No. 10. 3230/2004 (FEK 44 A).

Description If all the legal requirements are not met, or if it is not clear from the information submitted that they are met, the competent authority prohibits the operation of the business, informing the interested party in writing and stating the reasons. The notification must be made within one (1) month from the confirmation of the submission of the Notice of Opening of the business.
Notes The operator of the station concerned, if he considers that the operation of his activity has been prohibited, even though in his opinion he has submitted all the required documents, may appeal to the competent administrative bodies against the act of the administrative authority to which the Notice of the commencement of operation of the station has been submitted.

Description The circular relates to the commencement of operations of a vehicle service facility in accordance with the provisions of Law 3919/2011 as applicable. The circular describes the procedure for the notification of such installations and gives standard application forms for that procedure. In particular, on page 9 of the circular, for the truck service stations for the loading of goods, it is stated that: ‘In PD 79/2004 (A’62), as in force the reference to ‘installation permit’ and ‘operational permit’ in Articles 10, 15, 16 or elsewhere referred to.’ In paragraph 10 of the section "Procedure for the notification of the commencement of operations" of the Circular it is stated, inter alia, that: "... any of the undertakings in question that have fuel distribution facilities are not included in the facilities in question in this ...... and for the lawful operation of these facilities, an establishment and operating licence shall be granted in accordance with the applicable provisions. The licensing procedure for fuel disposal facilities (...) is governed by applicable legislation which is exempted from the application of Articles 2 and 3 of Law No. 3919/2011, as applicable. The same applies to any additional pump installations for the supply of fuel to vehicles at truck and intercity bus stations. The Circular was amended by Circulars No. 31927/2097/2014 (BIO1-6NN) and 46678/3013/1.8.2014 (705K1-0ΘΔ).
